My name is Paula Hagen and I run a horse transport business.  I am available during evenings and weekends (if you would like to be transported during the week please call to check availability).

I transport horses in a rear-facing Richardson Excel Supreme horse trailer as pictured above.  This trailer has a low loading ramp so is ideal for horses that are harder to load.  You also have the option to travel horses up to 16hh facing forwards if they prefer this (the trailer is towed by a 3.0 litre Mitsubishi Shogun V6 4x4).

The trailer has 7”6 headroom and can take up to 1420kg load (from Shetlands to 18hh).  I travel long and short distances (up to 8 hours maximum in a day).  

I have 15 years of equestrian knowledge and I own a horse so I am very used to handling horses using either traditional or natural horsemanship methods.

Training sessions for horses that are hard to load:

I am very experienced in loading a vast range of horses and ponies.  I have gained experience in tackling challenging horses, and have managed to gain a wide range of techniques from reading the body language of each horse.  If you would like me to come along and provide a session to help you to load your horse, feel free to call for availability and a quote.  Discounts apply if you book more than one session.  (I can provide sessions using your transport vehicle or bring my own.  Terms and Conditions will need to be signed prior to any agreement).
